Day 9

Warrner Springs is a fantastic place to take a zero day/nero-day. Good wifi, good place to camp. A golf course bar and grill that as long as the owner is not around has a friendly staff, might be a bit over priced.
I am stuck here waiting for the post office to open on Monday, as is 20 other hikers.

We lost one of our group yesterday, Dave. He's going to see a doctor and deal with his tax's. I don't know when or if he's going to come back to us. The loss will be missed. There may be another that's will be leaving our group. Bryan sprained both of his ankles. So he may need a few days off his feet. I don't know if I should wait or hike on. Staying with a group is a huge draw. Hiking on, may be hiking by my self. I know there are other people out there. Only tomarrow will tell.

Track my hike

Day 3 20-30

Started the day slowly. Found a few guys who are all hiking at the same rate. I could stay with this group.
5 miles we sat under a bridge with a good flow of water. There where about dozen people waiting our the heat of the day.
Decided to push 5 more miles. Turns out that was not a good idea. The hike was mostly up hill. Made camp at Yellow Rose Spring. I should of taken more photos, I will do that tomorrow.

Day 2 mile 15-20

I did 15 miles to house creak yesterday. It was hard getting out of my sleeping bag l. I did it and broke camp as fast as I could do as to not get back in the tent.

The trail only goes up from here. 5 miles.

Took 5 hours to go 5 miles. Was so tired but found some trail magic at the end. A banana and coke. Found a chease burger at the local store.
Stayed at lake Merino camp. More trail magic hotdogs sodas and beer. I was more then a little dehydrated so no beer just water

Day 1 mile 0

Could not sleep. Stayed at an indian casino. Took a friend's advice of take a long shower. It helped so thanks hadie.
Breakfast at Jane's country breakfast.
Said my good bye's. And found my first friend of the trail. Bryce a truly wonderful person. Sadly he's a must faster hiker then I am.

Day 0

Started the day early. Could not sleep, and had a bit to much Todo. What must have looked like a chicken with its head cut off I packed.
The calm of traveling was fantastic. All things are packed and the only thing I had Todo was to start
